1. How much does Butler & Bell Membership cost?
A: Standard Annual Membership costs €99 including vat.

2. What do I receive when I sign up to the Butler & Bell Hotel Privilege Club?
A:  Your Membership Gift Pack consists of your Membership Card and Booklet. The booklet explains how best to Use your Membership.  You must present your card at each hotel when checking in and checking out.  You Butler & Bell Card is valid for 1 year, and offers you unlimited bookings throughout the year. There will also be additional perks available to members including prize draws for Free Hotel Breaks, Late Checkout Privileges, Hotel Ezines and more.

3. How many months does my Butler & Bell membership last?
A: Normally Butler & Bell membership lasts one year from the date of subscription. It does not follow the calendar year.

4. Why is Butler & Bell Membership better than any other hotel deal?

6. How do I make a Hotel reservation?
A: A reservation request must be made via the Butler & Bell web site at any time, or for a small surcharge you can make your booking via the Call Centre during office hours.

7. Am I guaranteed room availability with Butler & Bell?
A: Yes, we are the only Hotel Club of our kind that can guarantee that we will find you a hotel at the price quoted to you in the Butler & Bell manual. Members may need to be flexible on hotel location to secure the deal.

8. Is the Membership Card transferable?  
A: No, under no circumstances can a member offer their card to another person for their independent use. Bookings must be made by the member, and they must also stay in the hotel that has been booked. However, members are entitled to book up to 2 additional rooms under the same booking for friends or colleagues if they are all travelling together.

9. How many rooms is one card valid for? Can I book for my colleague too?
A: Each booking must be made by the Card Holder but it can include up to 3 rooms. This means that you can save upwards of €300 on a short break with friends (e.g. using the €98 superbreak deal where you save an average of €100 per room). The Butler & Bell Member must be present and must make the booking.

10. If I receive the membership card through my company, can I then use it for private travels?
A: Yes, of course! There are no limitations as to how often you can use the card or to the purpose of the travel. The only restriction is that the cardholder is present and that ID can be shown along with the Butler & Bell card, if requested at check-in.

11. If my company is interested in several cards for its travelling staff or valuable customers, are there any discounts applicable?

12. Why would any hotel offer massive discounted room rates?
A: Very few hotels have an occupancy of 100%. Instead of leaving the rooms empty, they are willing to offer them to Butler & Bell Members at massively reduced rates as they know that our members are high spenders and will in turn promote their hotels to other high spending customers.  

13. Is Butler & Bell a Corporate Business Hotel Club?
A: No, the membership is primarily a leisure based membership club, although many companies now use us to book their hotels worldwide due to the discounted rates we receive.  Typical savings are still around €100 per night per room.

14. What happens if I loose my membership details?

15. How do I use my Coupon Code?
A. Some clients pay for their Customers & Employees to join Butler & Bell at a discounted annual rate. If you have been lucky enough to receive a Coupon Code or a Discount Voucher please input it at the Check Out stage.
 
Simply proceed with your membership application as though you were paying the full €99 rate, and you will be requested to input it just before you confirm your payment. A valid code will immediately reduce the Annual Rate accordingly.
